About Us

We are based in Collinsville, a borough of Canton, CT.

Once your building is designed our Collinsville location is where your timbers are cut and the joinery is incorporated.

We then deliver the completed timbers to your site and begin the erecting process.

Mission Statement

Our objective is that everyone who engages our services, to design and construct a building, will share the same pride we feel for every project

No matter the size of your project we want you to feel that you made the right decision to work with Four Square Post & Beam.

Who We Are

Four Square Post & Beam is a local Connecticut builder. We beautifully construct quality, post and beam, timber framed structures.

Our business is family-owned and operated. Our talented crew has over 100 years of combined building experience. Four Square Post & Beam has been in business for more than thirty years and WE stand true to OUR philosophy to give every client and building the attention IT deserves.

Therefore, we consciously limit the area in which we build and the number of projects we undertake at one time. We build all over all over Southern New England. However, Four Square has built homes, barns and out buildings in Maine, New York and Massachusetts.

If you live in or have traveled through the Farmington Valley area or Litchfield County you have probably noticed some of our structures.

Project Management

Ensuring that your project goes as smoothly as possible is important to US.

We engineer your structure and produce CAD documents for building permits and construction plans.

Because Four Square is a general contractor we can carry out your project from the design to the turn-key finish. We also offer our clients the ability to use their own sub-contractors.
